Club Picnic

Here are directions to Bob’s home for the club picnic on Saturday, July 19th (any questions, get in touch with Bob Ravich):

 Take I-77 to Exit 28

 From the North, turn right off the exit ramp to Catawba Ave; From the South turn left then…

 Make right turn after Taco Bell to Torrence Chapel Rd.

 Follow the road (the double yellow line) to # 22824

 Folks should arrive around 1:00PM.

 As we are on the lake, bring your swim gear.

 Ladies or others so inclined can bring desserts and soft drinks.

 We have 15 chairs. So, if you’d like to bring one, that’s OK.

Note: The Piedmont British Motor Club meets the last Tuesday of each month except November and December at Wise Guys Restaurant in Statesville, NC. Every one is welcome to join us for dinner at 6PM, the Club meeting starts at 7PM.

Finlay Park, Downtown Columbia SC

Last year's show had 115 cars and was our first year. We are anticipating 150 cars this year. We had bagpipe players, our local oldies radio station playing old British music throughout the day. Awards were given out to the club with the greatest participation, hard luck award, most creative oil leak, longest traveled, 1st, 2nd and 3rd to each class that had three pre-register. We will have several food vendors. It is located in beautiful Finlay Park which is downtown Columbia, SC. This park has plenty of space, a lake and some pretty water features. There will also be a hospitality room party the night before the show on Oct. 4th at the host motel The Hampton Inn, Vista location in Columbia, SC.
